The Power is in the Praying

With God all things are possible (Mark 10:27).  If you ask it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and it shall be opened to you (Matthew 7:7) .  Resist the devil and he will flee from you, draw near to God and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).  And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. (1 John 5:14).

Those powerful passages truly bolster our confidence when it comes to living spiritual lives.  However, there are few who ever really tap into the power afforded by a consistent and proper prayer life.  Far to often we seek God’s favor, blessing, strength or help only when we have failed to accomplish things by our own strength.  Even more often we fail to be thankful for the blessings given to us in prayer.

Developing a consistent, dedicated prayer life is your best way to accomplish all that God wills for your life.  You will find more strength to work, more joy for your efforts and less frustration due to failure.  Today is a good day to start praying regularly.  Now is a great time to dedicate yourself to open communication with the God of heaven.  You will see benefit immediately.
